Why can't I upload a simple jpeg?

I am wanting to upload a file to The Gallery and get a message....file not accepted....it is a jpeg from my IPhone/

We do not allow file uploads due to the expense and the liability involved.

 

If your image exists on the internets, you can post a link.

You can also upload it to an image hosting site and then link to it. Here's the one I use:

You could also post the photo on Facebook first, not sure about twitter.
