President Obama Will Host An LGBT Pride Event In June

According to the Washington Blade and the audible screams of the Heritage Foundation, President Obama is slated to host a reception at the White House on June 24th celebrating the month of June as the official LGBT Pride month.

 

This will be the seventh celebration of Pride from the Obama administration. This one, however, is scheduled to be close to the expected decision from the Supreme Court on the issue of same-sex marriage.

 

It would certainly be fitting to announce the legalization of nationwide same-sex marriage during Pride month.
