"A new study in Psychology Today says guys who make you laugh are better in bed than guys who don't, Chicago Tribune reports.

 

Researchers at the University at Albany studied female undergrad students about their past and present sex lives and found that if women found their partner funny, they were more likely to initiate sex with him, have sex more often, felt more protected by and committed to him, and the sex was better than with someone they didn't find funny, which is basically every single quality you could want in a relationship.

 

Psychologist and anthropologist Gil Greengross told Psychology Today that he isn't surprised with these findings, since he says, "People with a great sense of humor are attractive as mates and enjoy better mating success. This is true especially for men who use humor to attract mates, as humor is one of the most desired traits by women when choosing a mate.""

 

Though this study involves only women, I can attest that both men and women are usually laughing when I try to pick them up. They are laughing when I try to initiate sex. They are definitely laughing as I take off my clothes, and they are at times pointing and laughing which has thrown me off my game once or twice. Sometimes they are laughing when we are having sex. I have know two people to laugh right through orgasm. However, more often than not, they are usually either crying or running the next morning. So, I am not sure where I stand on this.

I have a slightly different take on the subject...

 

One of the reasons that I was attracted to S&M was the animalistic quality of the relationship. So while not exactly "monkey sex", I think that we are in the same ballpark... and at times it definitely can be a bit humorous as well...

 

 

Though if push came to shove it would be Monkey Sex way before Mr. Pitt... but still there's something about those rhinos!
