Facebook just released (or about to) a caller id app. Apparently, it will take "...the service’s unprecedentedly comprehensive access to all of our contact information and crams it into a delightful dialer."

So I guess, it will be easier to stalk... :p I mean, find out more information about potential clients/escorts.

Ugh just more of the intrusion of the internet into one's life in areas you would rather not have people snooping.

Yes, it may be easier to stalk... but it may also lead others to real names and identities. I know already that on sources such as LinkedIn and Facebook, if I stumble across a connection because of an e-mail address or phone number connection, all of a sudden I have an escorts real name, real job (or close to it) and even his personal (and real) facebook page. I have an internal switch I use to "stop prying" because I figure... if I can see them there, they might just as easily see ME.

I seldon use the internet to check on escorts. But, I do occasionally look up new friends, whom I do not know very well. I find far more more possitive information than negative. One new friends was named after a great uncle who died in the Holocaust. Another was arrested at an Occupy Wall Street demonstration. I asked him about the demonstration arrest. He was happy to discuss it, and why he consented to an interview allowing his real name to be mentioned.

I agree with you. I personally don't go seeking out personal info. The stalking bit was a joke on my part. :)

It's funny how people get in a uproar over the NSA/Government snooping, but a lot of people are willing to do the same thing without hesitation. I guess they feel it's ok (to a degree) because it's not the government. LOL!
