Written by Wendy Wasserstein, The Heidi Chronicles focus on the life of Heidi Holland, a successful Art Historian and women's rights activist, and the friendships she's makes during this journey. The play covers the movement looking back to the 60's, 70's, and 80's and her involvement in it.

 

I wasn't sure how I was going to react to this play but the balance of women's history and humor is well done. It's not preachy or too political. It gives women a lot to think about... Excellent acting. Elisabeth Moss gives an amazing and moving speech before her alumni organization that does a thorough job in summing up her life and the effect the movement had on her life.

 

Jason Biggs and Bryce Pinkham play very likeable roles and make a good connection with the audience.

 

Very easy to get seats for this show. TKTS and TDF have good discounts.
