This came up on the Washington Post yesterday and given conversations here on Backpage, ads and other sites for meeting escorts, this shows that in Dc it is still sort of an issue with law enforcement.

Still not sure to what extent they're targeting men who hire male escorts. The sense I got from the article is that the ads were purportedly posted by women because that's where the volume is, that's who's still involved in after hours street activity, and because that's where the majority of the trafficking occurs.

I agree this seems more than a couple of steps removed from folks here. They're also apparently focusing on Craigslist/BP and, perhaps, on the less high-end clientele. (You'd think an ESPN sportscaster would spring for more than $80 bucks.) Still, good info to know and thanks to the OP for sharing it.

(And, Steven beat me to the punch :D. Another reason why I almost always hire or not on reviews.)
