Wanna have some New Year's fun AND strike a blow at the so-called "family" lobby?

Vote in a poll promoted by the American Family Council's web site on whether you support an anti-gay marriage amendment or not. The Council promises they will forward the results on to Congress.

The hoot is that already almost 60% of the voters FAVOR the legalization of gay marriage! Clearly, this is getting around among gay netsters......Go to http://www.afa.net/petitions/marriagepoll.asp

Caveat: Lots of feedback from reliable people I know, that the AFA is collecting e-mail addresses from the poll, using them to send SPAM of its right-wing antigay propoganda. If you do participate, use an e-mail address that has a good spam blocker.

Thanks for updating us on that, onefinger, you made my day.....of course, the AFA site wouldn't have filled us in on that result.

I've always wanted to go down to the "Focus on the Family " Center in Colo. Springs, and make a specacle of myself.

Class action??

I was just thinking about this, we all signed up with the promise that our voices would be heard and that the results would be publicized, sent on to Washington... are there grounds for a class-action lawsuit, breech of contract or something??

Not really any money in it, but think about the publicity, and forcing this organization to publish the results in their own name...! }(
