Out in the Real World

I just saw this show on MTV and wondered if others had caught it. The show was a 30-minute special centering on Danny (the gay guy) on Real World New Orleans. You might remember that on the show he had a lover, Paul, who was serving on active duty in the military. When Paul appeared on camera his face was blurred to protect him. ("Don't ask - don't tell" only protects people that are still in the closet, don't commit homosexual acts, and don't talk about it.)

 

The program revealed Paul's identity now that he has left the military after 8 years of service. Paul basically said he had to choose between his career or Danny. After being together 4 years, it was refreshing to see two guys so committed to each other.

 

I really enjoyed the program and would recommend it others.

Thanks for the heads up. Danny is my favorite Real World cast member to date and I was always very curious about Paul. I can't believe the freaking TIVO didn't spot this for me. I guess I still have some training to do!
