I plan on heading to Prague next summer. My understanding is there are two clubs with rentboys--Temple and Escape. My hotel is right next door to Escape. Are either of these places any good? Or should I hire through an agency. Would love some information. Also planning on a couple days in Berlin--any suggestions?

There is a Czech kid named Jack Black who advertises on Rentmen.com. We exchanged a few emails. He works for a local Prague agency which he also seems to promote called topczechescort.com. Jack recommends his agency over the two rent boy clubs (not too surprising.) The agency provides men and women, and most of the guys look pretty hot. The VIP membership for which the site charges allows access to more pictures, but not a whole lot more and not all that explicit, yet one can join for 3 days for $5 through PayPal. Since I will not be traveling to Prague until early September, I figure the selection will have changed by then, however, it amuses me to do my research well in advance. I agree with your comment on the "Czechified" English. Czech is a very difficult language, wih a complex grammar (like most Slavic languages, such as Russian or Polish). Literal translations do manage to butcher English, and tend to be ridiculous, especially in syntax: following the very specific and strict Czech word order results in very funny and incomprehensible English sentences....Now, turning to the topczechescort agency, I have not tried it. I don't like having to pay to see pictures. Furthermore, I find a better selection and better rates on Romeo....

I miss Prague. I keep hoping to read a post from a visitor saying how much things have improved but sounds like it's still kind of fledgling. Seems like the internet has made clubs like Escape/Temple obsolete. I can't blame the workers. Why hang out in a club all night with no guarantee of a payoff when you can be out living life waiting for guaranteed business when you get a phone call?

 

I never got to Prague during its heyday. My trips have been over the past 5-10 years. During my last visit 3 or so years ago, Escape had become a dud. It used to be my favorite spot anywhere in the world, but on my last visit, it was just a shadow of its former self. Anytime I read about Escape now, it seems like it's more of a hybrid dance/drag bar.

 

I never hear about Temple on these boards anymore. It was a blast the last time I went. They had just added a tiny massage room which I thought was brilliant.

 

With the exchange rate as strong as it is for Americans, I wonder if it'll pick back up. Right now the Czech crown is 24 = $1.

BTW short summary from those boards... Temple is quiet these days. Escape is busier but only has average looking guys asking for twice what they used to... some asking as much as 8,000 a night. But there are more shows now as opposed to the one group midnight show they used to do.

Well, some Prague thoughts from this past April:

Def' Carl Ross and and Carloss7 are great.... spent a week with Carloss7 in Prague and visited with Carl Ross (his roommate) in a social setting for an evening at a casino... BOTH men are stellar. As for the Temple, a nice place to drink and admire the guys early in the afternoon and most of the guys there are associated with the Villa in some form or fashion... TOTALLY enjoyed the Escape, drinks are Euro-American price and some fold complain about it, however, the guys there were quite a variety: twink-to kink- muscle, loved it and spent late evenings there. If you want a tour guide/ companion/ escort, then I'd HIGHLY recommend Carloss7... he knows the city and the best exchange place for currency as well.. he is a jewel!!! I agree with your opinion on Carl and Carloss. They have become regulars of mine.
