Does it even work? I've heard it's notoriously balky, but I've sent several messages over the last two weeks or so and . . . nothing. No reply. And I include my email address. Anyone know anything?

I have found that more and more escorts just won't bother responding to emails. So, it's tough to determine whether they are getting emails or not. It's best to try a call or text.

I'm not aware of missing emails sent via rentboy, but as others stated, clients approaching me that way tend to be less serious, especially when they don't include a phone number. I do think emails through rentmen often get lost in the ether.

I know too the email works. I tend to email if I have a question that's not urgent such as to ask an escort his travel plans. Otherwise I txt or call.

Killian, appreciate your insider's input very much! I will say my emails are usually a specific question about area of interest/skill, and I gladly move on when I get a polite (or even an abrupt) 'no' or 'can't accomodate'; also I'll use email to ask if a particular escort I see traveling will be seeing clients or has time to book when in my area. On that basis, I'm somewhat surprised at the lack of response. Further, for me, there are some aspects of my interest I'd prefer not to discuss via text; so I guess asking for a good time to call is probably the best. I will say, some great encounters have been arranged over email between me and the escorts I've employed.

I prefer Emails being that I am married and need discretion. I hesitate to give my number since I had a close call one a while back. An escort that I hired who didn't turn out too great but still did the session, decided to text me out of the blues a few months later when he was in my area, and it so happened that I was out for dinner with my wife and my cell was right there in plain view, took some creative thinking to explain that one. Emails for me, if no reply, then on to the next one.

Have you considered using a Google Voice phone number? You can configure it to send any calls directly to voicemail and texts to be available only on the website. Then just check the website when you can do so privately.
