I live in Miami and it's a very transient city AND very touristy city which attracts tons of scammers and hustlers - there's tons of potential victims. Avoid Backpage and Craigslist in Miami for escorts because it's easy to post and easy to delete fast, near impossible to trace, very easy to falsify pics/information AND there's no option to write a review for the escort. Also you'll notice there are lots of Miami escorts with out of state phone numbers - huge red flag avoid at all costs.

Thanks for the heads-up and explanation for the high number of scammers - I hadn't thought about the tourist angle as a cause.

 

I've been casually watching Miami listings in RB & M4RN and am amazed at the amount of turnover of ads disappearing and new ads popping up every day, even for couples. The words "new in town" seem to be pervasive and another red flag.

I've had pretty good luck using both BP and CL. One just has to do their due diligence. I would suggest to always make the initial contact via email and not by phone.

Since I live in Miami and next to turnpike - will say during the week after 9:00am traffic tends to clear up (if there's no road work going on the turnpike). It starts to get congested beginning around 3pm during the week. Also school is out for the summer so congestion will lighten up a bit. There's tons of road construction going on especially around Miami airport. If you're staying downtown, a lot of the escorts live in Miami Beach/Biscayne Boulevard. I will definitely say Fort Lauderdale also has a more varied selection of guys.

Upper Keys is a few miles south of Homestead FL where the last exit of the turnpike south is.
