Not sure if I would have seen "The Interview" had it not been for all the controversy surrounding it... I viewed it on Video on Demand and enjoyed it. It's silly yet funny with lots of sexual innuendos. Yes, it's easy to understand why N. Korean President Kim Jong Un took offensive with it but his bizarre leadership/life style does provide much fodder for any book or movie.

I thought the acting was very good. The team of James Franco and Seth Rogen gave a fine performance.

Like Cooper, I found The Interview quite entertaining. It is far from a cinematic "classic," but was quite laugh-out-loud funny in parts.

By the way, that may be the biggest reason North Korea objected to this movie: it is bad, from their POV, to criticize their wacko leader and his dysfunctional government--but to make savage FUN of the same is more dangerous, and I am sure they found the homosexualization of their leader quite offensive. Brutal humor can be the most insidious weapon against tyranny of this sort.

I agree with the previous posters. Given all the publicity and controversy, how did The Interview do in terms of sales? I saw it On Demand per my TV, and it sounds like the movie is in some theatres, but I wonder if it made much money?
