To initially learn about BDSM I would suggest that you and your escort visit the NY Bondage Club for starters. A number of years ago I saw a now retired escort there with a client. The escort was learning the trade... and actually went on to do videos for Bound Gods. However at the time the escort was a newbie to the scene. I subsequently saw him there with a client a few years later and he was quite the pro.

 

I myself have gone there with a couple of escorts who were interested in learning more about such a scene. Granted both were already gaining knowledge but it is always interesting to be able to observe and learn from others. Depending on the particular night you might see a variety of scenes and can pick and choose what might interest you the most.

Doe Be Doe, this is a very belated response, but in case you are still looking for the right guy to teach you and your preferred escort the BDSM ropes (so to speak), you might consider Sir Kirk ( http://rentmen.com/WhosNext). He is based in Florida now, but is often back in NYC (including right now, according to his Rentmen ad). He is an entirely trustworthy guy with a serious depth of knowledge and experience in this arena. I am glad that Starbuck bumped this thread up as I completely had forgotten about it. Well let's just say that seeing Starbuck's link about Kirk triggered something in my memory banks and allowed me to put two and two together.

 

I mentioned the NYBC in my posting earlier in this thread. A while back I met Kirk there... From speaking with him it was obvious that he was quite knowledgeable regarding all aspects of BDSM. He also gave me some information regarding websites that sold various BDSM accoutrements. In addition, he had a clever setup where he was able to have his various floggers at his fingertips when doing an S&M scene. I was able to replicate that setup and am grateful for his advice. He also mentioned that he spends time in both Florida and New York City.

 

At the time I did not realze that he also gave seminars for the Leatherman in NYC. We had simply discussed the fact that we both had purchased a number of items there. However, from seeing him in action at the club and speaking with him I can attest to the fact he is a total professional and consequently I would feel quite comfortable recommending him to anyone who might be interested in exploring the various aspects of BDSM. I can also speak to the fact that he looks more buff than than the photo in the link posted above. In fact if I were able to get to NYC I would probably attend the seminar simply to met with him again even though fisting is decisively not an activity I would ever consider exploring. I certainly hope that our paths cross again in the future.

When I met him he was simply a nice guy named Kirk... I had absolutely no clue that he went by Sir Kirk. Also, I was not intimidated at all by his accoutrements as I had a few of my own at the time as well... and for the record when I go to the NYBC it's always as a DOM... ;)

Well I was confused as well... Or make that more confused than I normally am!!! I get it now. I think... Though I liked the idea that it might be a kinky reference!

 

I actually thought that it was jocular reference to the fact that the thread had taken a somewhat lighthearted small detour.

 

In any event, in my posting above I failed to mention that when I first met Kirk I had no clue that he also was a sometime escort. In fact, that was the furthest thing on my mind at the time and the subject never even entered into our discussion.

 

At any rate, to get this thread back on track for the OP and any others who might be interested, the guy really knows his stuff and was decked out in a black leather outfit with red trim as noted in the pics from Starbuck's links.
