At times in the escort biz a change is needed and necessary. I cannot tell this board how much I am enjoying Washington, Dc and the wonderful local clients who call our nations' capital home. I have been exploeing every inch of Virginia and Maryland as well and it is an amazing area. I haven't been posting much lately because of all the wonderful new clients and because, frankly, there is so much to do here. A new market can reenergize and reinvigorate an escort. I notice that here in DC I DO NOT have any of the cancellation issues I have had elsewhere. When guys make appointments here they stick to it. I hope to meet all of the DC locals who are daddys posters and daddys lurkers as well as anyone who has plans to visit the area. I have been here many times as a tourist or on a working trip but only by spending an extended amount of time here can one truly appreciate the glory of DC,......MIKEY

So so true. And often hiring an escort and/or masseur will hinge on their closeness to a METRO stop as in most neighborhoods, finding parking is nearly impossible.

Parking??? Adriano, I almost never drive into DC anymore because of the parking situation. Of course, first you have to get to your destination. Once I was almost 1/2 hour late meeting Steven because of a traffic jam that took so long to get clear that my tank read below empty. I really wondered if I was going to run out of gas. (BTW, Steven was super about my being late when I called to explain what was going on. He even checked with the front dest to find out the nearest gas station to his hotel room.)

JustaGuy, Parking is what generally makes me think 2 or 3 times about going into the District. I try as much as possible to depend on the Metro, as bad as it is (especially on weekends, when I do have more time to engage in "other" activities!).

 

If I am interested enough, and if the escort/masseur has found a place in a more or less decent zone - which for me is within 4 blocks of a metro station - I have been fortunate in most cases in finding a parking space (knock on wood), near enough to their hotels and have never run late (but then again, I plan always on being early). I also note that finding functioning gas stations in DC itself is often a nerve-wracking challenge so never go in there unless I have more than enough petrol to escape later. I am fortunate to live in the suburbs and can get onto Georgia Ave or 16th Street easily enough to get to most areas.

 

For this reason though, I hesitate to ever see a guy whose work place is farther away (e.g. Alexandria, Dulles Airport, Reagan/National, or even Georgetown) as it is nearly impossible to arrive "on time", find a place to park or get there and not have to hike a dozen blocks or more, arriving sweaty and messed... (though being sweaty and messed at the end is more than desirable.)

Well, some of that has to do with the fact that being most guys are independents. I'd be curious to know if things were booked thru an agency it would be different. Some of those cancellations are going to be around still anyway. America is the land of the free. Free sex that is. Mikey...sorry to hear about the set backs. I have talked to escorts who travel, many say that some of the local boys will often try and disrupt schedules. Sad, but apparently it is part of the game. That being said, DC is a great city on many levels, and visiting always brings joy. As for Florida...lol...your favorite group has just arrived (snow birds) . Lots of Canadians and New Yorkers.
