Young Rick Day model desiring to quit the "business" seeks a venture capitalist or a consortium of capitalists to back him in a luxury and exotic car detailing operation; the return on the investment is companionship. He is level-headed, and, thankfully, he doesn't want to be a model. If you have an interest, please pm me. And, yes, he is "legal" in his age.

So basically he wants a sugar daddy, but he's saying that some of the money will go into the startup?

Mixing business and pleasure so closely sounds like a powder keg to me. Even though he doesn't have a financial share of the business, the client may behave like an investor. He may be angry if the ex-model in is not taking the business seriously.

I think it's better to just call it a sugar daddy arrangement. That way, i's his business what he does with the money.

I'm with FF; this doesn't make any sense. Looking at it from the business perspective, even the most horny guy is not going to consider companionship an adequate ROI (return on investment). Call it what it is: a sugar daddy arrangement. And I'd flip the question: will the business get in the way of companionship? Or is being there at night enough? That's assuming by companionship, you mean an exclusive live-in arrangement. Otherwise, it may not make as much of a difference.

I'll agree with the others.

I've seen VC investors invest in some pretty wacky stuff (some of it stuff I've worked on), but the ROI needs to be better than an occasional -- or even regular -- piece of ass. Most VC investors already have (or know where to get) all of that they need.

Joining the skeptics. There is a conflict in the model (if you will): the more time he puts into making the detailing business succeed, something his investors will presumably want to happen, the less time he will have to give them the promised return on their investment.

I'd be willing to spring for a bucket and a couple of chamois. http://www.boytoy.com/forums/public/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif

And I'll chip in one lightly used garden hose and a can of Turtle Wax.

One overnight/month will do nicely as my ROI. I doubt I could handle much more than that anyway with a kid that young.

PM me for details (can't publicly discuss this w/o AdamSmith getting jealous).

!!!DON'T OPEN THE DOOR!!! The deal includes a common law wife and a child that require financial support.

Oh dear me, that changes everything. Lookin, you might want to put away that bucket and chamois. It's not what you think...

I'm thinking, if we work this right, there might be something for everyone. http://www.boytoy.com/forums/public/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif

Do you think just added these in after you inquired, thinking "Hey, I already have some buyers lined up. Why not ask more?"
