The FDA today approved the impotence drug Cialis, which can last for as much as 36 hours with less side effects than Viagra or the one that makes you throw footballs through tires, Levitra.

Cialis will be available in 2-3 weeks.

Now that's news you can use!

So Cialis has been approved, thats good, I guess.

Only thing I can say bad about a 36 hour half-life is just imagine what that would be like it you had side effects to occur.

Umm...for those of us who've only tried "V", could someone elaborate on the "footballs through tires" analogy? }(

It appears the drug Cialis works (at least at the high dose of 20 MG) slightly better than Viagra; like Viagra, it is recommended only for patients with erectile dysfunction and like Viagra, does not cause erections in the absence of sexual arousal. The most common side effect reported in the long term trial were headaches and upset stomachs. Based on a review of what is on their website, I doubt the side effect profiles will be substantial different from that of Viagra, simply less (or potentially, more) severe.

I have tried Cialis and much prefer it over Viagra. With Viagra I get terrible facial flushing for about 5 hours. I had some flushing with Cialis but it was gone in a couple of hours and I was horny for two days. I purchased it through an Internet site in Australia and the price was insane but I was spending 24 hours with a much younger guy I was trying to impress and at my age there may be no tomorrow so "what the hell". }(

Did you take 10 or 20 mg? Since they cost the same, it would be cheaper to by 20mg and cut it in half for a 10mg dose.

I bought 20 mg and cut them in half. I have since tried a 1/4 pill (5 mg) and although helpful it was a bit lacking.

I got it in Brazil when I went there in October. It cost about R110 for four caplets (I didn't notice if they were 10 or 20mgs). The cost came to about $8/dose. The effects were much preferable to Viagra for me. Less nasal congestion and flushing, long lasting and made me able to have sex more than once a night, which Viagra never did. It seemed to cause some burning sensation in the urinary tract of my penis when taken 2 days in a row. I had some lower back cramping type pain which I've since read is a possible side effect, I had written it off to the hotel bed. All in all, I'd chose it over Viagra any day (however, I am intrigued by the footballs through hoops analogy of the other drug and look forward to a further explanation of what that's all about)

Lavitra (vardenafil) has a comercial which features a man throwing a football through a tire and talking about needing a lift or some such euphamism.. it's one commercial that is a pet peeve of mine.. you have no idea what the drug is for.. (unless you have some idea that most drugs that end in "fil" help your dick stay hard) you find yourself asking your doctor if a certain drug is right for you with no idea what it's for.

So many drugs do this.. I don't know why.. at least with zelnorm you know exactly what its for... IBS and mostly for women..

anyway that's what the football through tires analogy is about.. not refering to the size of anyone's ass on here :) ... which makes me wonder if the girl or boyfriend of whoever wrote that commercial ended up being offended in any way hehe..

having been invested in icos, the biotechnology co that developed cialis, i've kept up with all the news through the development and approval from the fda. one major benefit of this drug over the other 2 is that the benefits last for up to 36 hours. it should be obvious that there would be no need to take it 2 nights in a row. recall your previous statement that cialis permitted you to perform twice in one night, something that viagra didn't allow you to do; this benefit should have lasted through the second night without another dose. another benefit over viagra, as on a cost basis it wouldn't cost as much as if you had to take a viagra pill every night.

great to see the publicity on this site!
