its still there now when I clicked on it.....

The rentboy site is schizoid. Sometimes it behaves and other times, not. Some posters on this forum have devised a formula to interpret various ways an escort's ad can be retrieved and displayed. Sometimes the formulas work but other times, not. At the present time, I am not able to view the ad.

I'm sorry...I don't even have a clue what you're talking about. What formula is that?

If the link doesn't work for you, the easiest thing to try 1st is to see whether the link has the 'www' following the 'http://'. I if doesn't then, then you should copy the link into a browser without clicking on it. Add the 'www.' (without the quote marks), and then click on it.

Trick #1

Example- the link posted was

So you want to add the 'www.'

Nine times out of 10 if the ad is still there that will get you to it.

Trick # 2

The next trick is to use the 'www.' and to delete all of the URL that occurs after the 1st set of numbers.

In this case the first set of numbers is 341625&iid.

Change the URL to "http://www.rentboy.com/Listing.aspx?lid=341625"

I can't think of a case recently where using either Trick #1 (or #2 if #1 didn't work if the ad was still present.

Instead of having posters transforming the link from their end, wouldn't be easier if the OP posted the link with the correct format acceptable for all?

That's what I would do.

http://www.rentboy.com/Listing.aspx?lid=341625

Just remove everything after ...Listing.aspx?lid=341625

Exactly!

It is crazy to have to convert a link.

The rentboy issue is somewhat comparable to someone posted a link in a foreign language and the language is not understood by all. If a potential customer cannot read an ad, how can the seller (escort) earn revenue from an obscure ad that cannot be opened by countless potential customers?

If I were paying for an ad and people had to go through "hoops" to read my ad, I would not be happy.

Rentboy should reprogram how they present links of paying customers.

This is an ongoing issue and there is no logical excuse for it to continue as it does.

Focus, gentlemen, Focus....back to the question at hand regarding the escort of interest? I know I would be interested in reading of some up-close and personal experiences with the young man....
