I've only recently started watching and I'm obsessed. Netflix just added the two after-season specials ("Day of the Doctor" and "Time of the Doctor") to their lineup and I'm eagerly waiting for next Saturday's premiere.

I confess! Whovian. Got hooked on the Tom Baker and Peter Davison Doctors, ignored the Colin Baker and Sylvester McCoy Doctors, and was very excited to see the series revived in 2005. The revival has been very well done and I am also looking forward to seeing what Capaldi will do with the character.

I liked Eccleston, really liked Tennant and Smith. From the previews I'm not sure I'm going to like Capaldi. And I hated - just hated-The Time of the Doctor Episode. It was awful. There was no big suspense or anything. They should have ended Smith's tenure with the Day of The Doctor episode

But did you read the article? Weren't those cute engagement pictures? And aside from that the two guys themselves are cute too. I certainly wouldn't throw a David Tennant type out of bed.

Whovian here, but I haven't been keeping up with the series at all lately.

The main point of the post was not really the series but the engagement pictures in the link to the article I posted. I thought it was a really clever idea- not too mention I thought the couple was as cute as the dickens. But I guess I was the only one.

You're not the only one. I find them incredibly cute too!

I thought the couple was quite appealing also. If we're talking about bookish unobtainium, I could think of two other

examples that are not quite as young ... I had occasion to see the male couple that were represented in the Proposition 8

case, and then there's the fellow who organizes the the unfurling of the huge pink triangle and his partner.

Sadly, can't come up with any pictures for you but other San Franciscans might know them.
