Kids are so cool in that it is always a non-issue with them.

 

I remember a little girl who found out I'm gay, and asked me what it means to be "gay." I was startled, but in one of the few moments when I said exactly the right thing, I came up with, "That means that if I get married, I'm going to marry a man."*

 

Her reply: "Oh. [pause]....... Can a man marry a woman and then marry another woman, too?"

 

It was just information to her. So cool.
