I will be heading to Palm Springs in the near future. I need some advice as to which of the resorts is the best for a friendly crowd very much into hot, group, kinky, action. I have usually stayed at the Vista Grande/Mirage/ Atrium. I think it is great. But I've read about the CCBC...and it's notorious "Path" or "Trail". Which is better?? I read once of one of them having a sling room...which one is that?

I would appreciate any sincere recommendations. Comments on the quality of the place in terms of the accommodations as well as the intensity of the group action for this hungry bottom is what I am seeking.

Finally, any recommendations for top escorts in the area?

Thanks for your help.

I'm hard pressed to think JUST ONE of them has a sling room. ;-)

The Citadel has one for sure. They put it in about a year ago and dubbed it the Michael Brandon room. (It's where Michael stays when he's in PS.)

Where The Sex Is

Once again, for anyone who is going to Palm Springs, here are some general comments:

Cruising/Sexual Environment

Any of the Warm Sands area resorts are suitable for sexual situations because the entire Warm Sands street area because a cruise spot after dark, more so in season and on the weekends, obviously. This is more of your typical cruise environment, no real nudity, although you do see quite a bit of skin on display. One caveat: do not get a room at a resort which abuts Warm Sands, unless they have a privacy walls and other methods to block noise or you will get no rest and relaxation. In this respect, I would avoid Warm Sands Villas since most of the rooms have windows and the parking is at street level as well.

For actual cruising and a sexual environment INSIDE the resort, the two most notorious places are Camp Palm Springs (which has slings in many of the rooms) but is away from the Warm Sands area, and CCBC, which as the name implies, is in Cathedral City. Both are therefore destinations: both residents and visitors go to each of these resorts for either day passes or 24 hour passes. Nudity is permitted and both are more of the bathhouse environment versus a bar type cruise enviornment. However, I speak of Camp Palm Springs only from second hand knowledge and I have only been to CCBC once, during White Party Week with a collection of adult film actors, so the crowd was likely quite different when I was there than it would be on most occassions. CCBC often hosts a variety of groups, from leather/bear to your average gay male type, often hosts events, so I would check out their web site. Camp Palm Springs really makes no attempt to disguise the fact that they view themselves primarily as a place for guests and non-guests to get laid. One of the managers would enter the Palm Springs area AOL chat room and invite men over. CCBC also has slings in the path area you describe, as well as other "play" environments, but nothing special.

Based on what I have been told and the rooms I saw at CCBC, I would not recommend either for their guest ammenities, especially given what you would have to deal with (a lack of privacy, a lack of security, noise, etc.) due to all the traffic. As both offer guest passes, I believe you would be better off simply visiting them at your convenience and leisure.

As for resorts with sexual ambience, as you know the Vista Grande/Mirage has the water fall, steam room area, All Worlds has a much smaller water fall fountain, sling area, and most of the resorts which allow nudity (and nearly all do at least at one pool), which allow for more discrete and relaxed sexual activity.

Were I you, I would consider checking into All Worlds for part of your stay if a sling is that important, and then the balance at Vista Grande.

For those who want clothing optional options but also want a nice environment, I would look at InnDulge and InnExile (my personal favorite but sold out well in advance so hard to get into on short notice).

Franco,

Thanks for all the info. I took copious notes. Sorry if you had to repeat it.

Thanks again...it was very helpful!
