Jeer: I hadn't watched new TV in a while (if we ever have the tube on, it's in the background, tuned to comfort-food shows on Nick@Nite or TV Land) but on Saturday night, while we waited for a no-show client (grrr), we watched Saturday Night Live. Not only is the new cast completely unfunny and relying on cue cards, but every single skit (including Weekend Update and fake commercials like "Gaystrogen, for when you're not feeling gay enough") contained a gay-bashing joke. If Gilda and Belushi are not rolling over in their graves, they should be.

 

Cheer: However, on the opposite side of the coin, there's the new Ellen Degeneres talk show. This has to be the funniest thing on television in years. She makes it seem so easy. Her daily opening monologues are better than routines that other lesser comics have been trying to perfect for years.

 

 

And now that I'm done playing reviewer, I'm gonna go attack my unsuspecting boyfriend with my deep throat. :9
