Probably just something personal with me - I choose not to start the discussion with having to "ask" about rates - I like it to be presented upfront. I do not like negotiating/haggling situations in ANY marketplace (which, having lived in Southeast Asia was a major inconvenience!) I simply do not enjoy having to ask about money.
