I'm in the mood to have a "Daddy's 59th Birthday Party" somewhere around Wednesday, November 12th here in Las Vegas.

As usual we'll keep it informal and have a few events just to go socialize. Any ideas or suggestions are welcome.

If we can rock Palm Springs, we can rock Las Vegas! If I can get an idea of the number of people that would be interested I'll wander around and see if I find some "Daddy Deals" for you.

Dear Daddy,

As long as you don't mind a younger companion and there is still availability for your gathering, I would be delighted to join you on such a uplifting event! ;)

We can discuss more details in private :)

HUGS,

Big birthday wishes in advance. I am going to circle that date on my calendar and see if I can find a way to be in LV on that day. It would be great to finally meet you in person.

60 does indeed deserve a blowout. I celebrated mine with Dane Scott and Andrew Justice. See the posted review for all of the salacious details. I hope Daddy has as much fun.

I'm thinking very seriously about celebrating your birthday in LV. By the way, Daddy is one of those people that chronological age is not that important cause he's a timeless guy.

Nothing to forgive; I actually had to look up how old I am! Just not apart of my life normally.

Forgive my mistake. Counting gets harder the older I get, but I can tell you that turning 60 is an accomplishment in itself.

I have to use a calculator to figure out how old I am, something about 2000-1900 keeps getting in the way...

I'm starting to think about my birthday party in November.

To start with on Wednesday, November 12th (My actual birthday) I'm thinking The buffet at the Palms casino which has moderate lunch prices (get a players card first!) and good food. Then on to Charlies for "Underwear Night" that evening.

I've had several good reports that the show "Absinthe" is our style of humor. They're open Tuesday-Sunday with shows at 8pm & 10pm. If we can get 10 RSVPs I'll call them for the group rate. I'm keeping this one flexible to see when people want to show up.

Friday night at 11pm, my favorite haunt is the Badlands and Jimmy Emerson's show Fabulously Funny Fridays. The show is free, tipping is encouraged and Fireballs are 50% off during the show. After the show, the Spotlight lounge and both of the Las Vegas bathhouses are in the same complex and a short walking distance. It's very possible you'll see familiar faces.

I'm thinking a 2nd lunch/dinner on the weekend for those that can't make it on Wednesday. I'm open to suggestions.

This sounds like a lot of fun. And given what you've been through this year, a hard-won Birthday! Plus I've got some SWA drink tickets I gotta use. Count me in, at least for the first part of the festivities.

Unfortunately, I'm not going to be able to attend as part of my plan to continue on to Palm Springs. About 3 weeks ago a guy I have tried to spend time with on numerous occasions contacted me and I will be in NYC the 13th and 14th. I'm sure a great time will be had by all.

Latest Plans...

Starting on Wednesday, November 12th (my actual birthday) It'll be lunch at the Buffet at the Palms at about 1pm. The best access is from the garage on the strip side of the casino. If you don't have a players card, I'd suggest that you get one first for a serious discount. I plan to arrive at about 12:30 so that we can get a count of seats before we go in at 1pm.

Then on to Charlies for "Underwear Night" that evening. I'll show up at about 10pm and I'll be in the elevated area at the back of the bar.

There hasn't been any interest in Caesar's show "Absinthe" so it appears that I'll be crossing that off the party list.

Friday the 14th at 11pm, one of favorite haunts is the Badlands Saloon and Jimmy Emerson's show Fabulously Funny Fridays. The show is free, tipping is encouraged and Fireballs are 50% off during the show.

After the show, the Spotlight lounge and both of the Las Vegas bathhouses are in the same complex and a short walking distance. It's very possible you'll see familiar faces.

For those that can't make it to Las Vegas in the middle of the week, I'm planning on a lunch at the "Bahama Breeze Island Grille" on Saturday, the 15th. I'll need RSVP's for this one, so give a yell if you plan to show up.

Saturday evening, I plan to visit "Fun Hog Ranch" at about 9pm. You'll have a chance to meet the "Sin Sity Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence" who'll arrive at 10pm raising money for their SADAP project.

I've got my reservations made and look forward to lunch at The Palms, not to mention the other fun stuff.

For anyone on the fence, you may be swayed by the reasonable room rates to be had for mid-week November. A sampling from the MGM site:

Aria $114

Vdara $119

MGM Grand $90

Mirage $79

Mandalay Bay $70

New York New York $65

Monte Carlo $54

Luxor $37

Excalibur $33

Circus Circus (gasp!) $22

But I'm going the gay route and staying at Blue Moon, which also has some good deals: http://www.bluemoonlv.com/

As typical, Nate has given us useful information in a very organized, professional manner. I believe he is one of the most professional, positive, and knowledgeable posters on the Forum.

Plus one hell of a nice, sexy MAN!!!
