Off to Berlin for first time this summer.

Anyone help me decide where to stay? Would like classy place in gay area (and place that is easy to bring back hot escorts) and also close to action and hustler bars (if they have them).

Thanks gents :)

Is this a new hotel? I don't remember it (but I haven't been to Berlin since 2005).

It's a relatively new hotel. The hotel was built in 2008 (as a brand new building) and it opened in spring 2009.

thanks. yes. was thinking Axel so long as its easy to bring boys back ?

I found out my trip conflicts with the circuit party in Barcelona. Do you think the selection of boys in Berlin will still be worth it? or do I need to think about Barcelona instead?

A few years ago I was surprised that Schoenberg, Isherwood's former and famous neighborhood, while still quite gay was the calmest of the fun Berlin neighborhoods. Berlin is awesome. Need to get back there.

I've heard nothing but positive reviews of Berlin. I've got to break my Mediterranean habit!

Axel is a gay hotel and this is Berlin, a very liberal and open-minded city: you'll have no problem bringing anyone you want to your hotel room. :)

Both Berlin and Barcelona are worth the trip! They attract many visitors and are labeled as the two current gay capitals in Europe.

If you're planning to attend Barcelona during 'Circuit Festival', be aware that the circuit boys will be partying and not working.

Probably other posters can chime in on the Barcelona vs Berlin question.
