What does the name "Hooboy" mean? Who boy? Hoo!Boy!? Just wondering.

My guess is that coming from Hooville, Hooboy was named for the place where he grew up. Just a guess, but probably as good as any.

I suppose that only HB himself could answer that question... However, as one who knows the origins behind the label, i can say for sure that the story is amusing & as truthful as they come

I always assumed that "hooboy" was a sort of exclamation, as in "Hooooo Boy, what a night that was!" You know, like "Boy Howdy", "Oy Veh" or "Yumpin' Yiminy" (which are the Texas, Long Island and Minnesota axillary Hooboy websites, respectively.)
