Did you think my piks were so good you don't have a chance or in other words BUMP ... it would be fun to have others take a shot at it and see who finishes on top.

One more bump for those who might not have seen this thread :). Still time to get in on the pool just for the fun of it if you want. Simply copy and paste the schedule from the original post and let us know who you think will win each game :).

RE: USA vs Germany

Guys, the football season finished this weekend - the Australian Rules grand final was last week and the Australian Rugby League grand final is this weekend.....oh, sorry, you don't live in God's own country, do you, poor things.

Well we don't have to wait for Monday night to give VaHawk his props for his great handicapping this week.

The way I have it:

VaHawk at 10-3

duke37 (me) 8-5

Huey 5-8

mondo 4-9

Hey mondo you getting advice on picks from Jerry Glanville? Congratulations to Hawk and lets hope our straight friends don't see our miserable (cumulative) performance.

Any guesses for next week?

Thanks, Huey, but you know how it goes some weeks you guess right and others you don't (as the saying goes "on any given Sunday"). Keep up the weekly pools as I love to play the pools and when you're in a money pool it makes NFL Sunday a whole lot more interesting. I usually win 4-6 times a year in the pools. I'll never forget the pool at the local Eagle I used to play (always at least $400 in that one) and was 13-0 on Sunday and lost to a guy who was 12-1 but after the Monday night game we were both 13-1 and he won on points - now that sucked!! as being 13-0 I thought I would win for sure. :)

I love sports, which may explain why I always had more fun at the local straight pub when I lived in Maryland, than I had at the gay clubs most times. I loved those guys as they were a lot of fun, and they always respected me and watched out for me, even though I was openly gay, just because they realized that in reality, I was basically just like them. :)

PPS - I DO SO WISH the Redskins would win as often as you pick them to do so! Oh well, win or lose, at least the Redskins don't bore the hell out of me like they have the last 10 years. I feel real sure that Steve Spurrier will lead the Skins to the Super Bowl, if not this year, then maybe next year or the year after. :o
