Me: I haven't bought stuff in a couple of years, but there are some excellent white dresses out this spring at good prices, so I bought this. It will arrive tomorrow, and there's another one that ships in a month. I get a lot of wear out of my white dresses, and good ones with the right neckline and shape are hard to find.

MiamiLooker, have you tried modal briefs? Modal is a type of rayon. It's extremely soft and lets the skin breathe as well as cotton. Almost all of my underwear is modal now.

But to answer Rich's question, La Perla is one of the few intimates brands that excels at creatingcreates designs that are fresh and sexy without being slutty. (They don't always succeed, but they're better than any competitor. Some of their designs are copied with varying results.)

 

To those who can pay, that justifies the premium price. However, I prefer to spend my clothing money on actual clothes.

I’ll bet after a couple of burritos even $452 La Perla underwear doesn’t look so fresh and sexy.
