From the article:

...many Americans still can't quite wrap their heads around the idea of two women or two men sleeping together. An alarming statistic shows that while 70 percent of millennial-aged voters support marriage equality, only 56 percent are comfortable with the idea of gay sex.

But what about US not being particularly comfortable with 'mano-a-womano' sex. I'm reading a novel right now with a mild description of the 'male' performing fellatio on his 'woman' pick-up. It wasn't the most appetizing thing for me to think about either (my apologies to Fresh Fluff and Tyro).

On the other hand some descriptions- and most assuredly- some depictions of gay sexual fetishes I've seen in porn movies has not been that appetizing to me either. For example- I really hate all those close-ups of rimming that they show in porn movies- yuck!

I guess I'm just one of those prudes the article makes mention of.

As for Abstinence Only Sex Ed- well whatever they taught worked for me as I was a complete virgin until I was 41, but for 'normal' people- what are they thinking

Over the years I've had several opportunities of sharing with family or friends my experience of what it was like to grow up and realizing that you're not like everyone else. Looking back, I still remember a particular billboard that showed a very attractive couple reclining against each other in a cigarette advertisement. I still remember feeling in my gut that it wasn't "right". It took me several years before I understood why I felt that way ... but I use it as an example of how my gut was telling me I was different before I understood how I was different.

You mean cunnilingus, right? (Unless the woman was an MtF?)
