Apparently an Italian nun has taken Italy by storm with her audition on Italy's version of The Voice. When I first saw this clip, I was wondering if it was a Saturday Night Live skit or something because the shots of her sister nuns cheering her on is just too damn funny. But I'm pretty sure the clip is legit. Wow, the nuns back in grade school were nowhere near this hip.

Her big notes were pretty good, but I didn't find her singing all that tuneful. The whole thing was pretty funny, though.

 

My big question is why this show doesn't have any attractive coaches? Apart from Cee Lo in the U.S., all of the panel is fairly attractive. I've never visited Italy, but I thought there were a lot of sexy men and women there. Surely some of them are musicians who would be willing to coach on a show like this.

I'm not very well versed in Italian pop culture and I don't know any of them, but aren't judges selected for their skills rather over their appearance/attractiveness?

I'm not suggesting they should hire attractive people without the skills, but surely they could find attractive people with skills.
