A couple of years ago, I bought a video by internet from Sharpshooter Studios, and they sent it at my home (in South America) promptly and with no problem. No comments about the video.

The problem is that since that delivery, I am receiving from Sharpshooter Studios continous mailing with porn videos, that I do not want at all to receive. I've sent to them several emails requesting them to quite me from their mailing list, with any succes.

I found that marketing policy very invasive and disgusting, and over that is causing me a lot of problems with my privacy.

I need some help from people who live in USA, in order to know what to do to succeed to being retired from that video company mailing list.

I do not know if you have had the same experience.

There's not a lot you can do about it, I'm afraid.

From your wording it sounds like you're talking about standard "snail mail" junk mail. You might try including one of their mailings in a complaint letter addressed to POSTMASTER in whatever city/state/zip they use as a company address. NOBODY in business in the US wants to deal with a Postal inspection. That's serious bad mojo.

Thanks for your advise. I am planning to collect some of their junk mail and sent them in an enveloppe whith a complaint letter.

Sharpshooters Studios must know that with such kind of policies, they lose customers instead to get some fans.

Who is their marketing managaer?

Deej's suggestion about filing a complaint with the Postmaster is a good one.

Your remark about who is Sharpshooter's marketing manager is something that I've wondered myself. I've ordered several videos from Sharpshooter and like you get a fair amount of junk mail from them. (I haven't tried to get removed from their mailing list, but that's a good idea now that I think about it.) They also have a very strange policy (for lack of a better word) re: security issues and their website, which doesn't work with my new computer. All I get is red x's where the grapics and/or pictures should be. I thought that they might be having a problem with their site, so I sent them an e-mail. Their response: "Do you have a firewall? If so, disable it and our site will work just fine." (I don't think so!)I had a firewall on my old computer, but I installed the latest version of Norton's on the new one. I don't have a problem accessing any other site. Oh well, their loss not mine. I won't be doing business with them until the problem is resolved.
