Not to rain on your parade, but wouldn't this thread have better invoked the Chtistmas spirit if it was started on the actual holiday instead of five days later? :-P That being said, good luck. There are some others I'd like to see welcomed back too, but I won't name them for fear of hijacking your thread.

I thought Xander was only out to the New Year?

Here's what Xander wrote earlier this year:

Hi everyone,

I hijacked James' account momentarily to respond to this thread. While my account is on time-out, I do still hop on once in a while.

Yes - I have been on time-out for the thread linked earlier in this discussion. I am on time-out until January 2014. No qualms there ... Daddy and associates always do what is best for the longevity of the community.

The original plan was for me to complete my internship and then hop right back into escorting and continue school. As we all know - plans sometimes change. My Summer internship is currently over, and it was fairly successful.

About five weeks ago I received word that a large multinational was looking for a co-op with the exact skill-set and experience that I have. A co-op is kind of link an internship, but they pay is better, and its a much longer commitment: 3 semesters. I work for them for a semester, go back to school for a semester, work for them for a semester etc. etc. For all intents and purposes I am treated as a full-time employee according to the books. I just get zero benefits .

The pay is really good for an internship. The experience is more important to me, though. I'm giving the corporate world another shot ... I really do believe in my mind though that I just am not cut out to work for other people ... Other people should work for me ;]

My website, ads, etc. have been down - I simply cannot risk my employer finding out that I am ... eh ... "self-employed" on the side. At this point I have a contractual obligation with both my school, and my employer. Anything that goes wrong with my employer will automatically create a big headache for me with my school.

Chances are that I will be returning back to escorting at the end of Winter. The only way I won't be returning is if, for some ungodly reason, I happen to enjoy the corporate world more than escorting and do not want to take any risk in losing my job. And believe me ... I really enjoy escorting. Its the labor of love. When I do return I will have to be much more discrete and start blurring out my face. This is unfortunate, because my pretty face and the only thing I've got goin' for me .

Speaking of which - the ads are down, but I'm still seeing clients (albeit, not as often). I am in this weirdish-gray-in-between of being retired and not being retired. Its more of a publicity thing than anything - I just simply can't have my face out there. I'm alright with still being seen on Daddy's, though.

If anyone is headed to burning man, come and find me at Comfort and Joy - 7:30 & E. I'll be helping run the largest circle jerk in the US! https://soundcloud.com/aoxfordca/blackrockcirclejerk2

You can always email me at [email protected] if you'd like to get ahold of me.

admins - I won't be responding to this thread again or using James' account ... your time-out is okay with me... I just felt the need to clear up a bit of the mystery

I don't know who Xander is nor do I have an opinion about his return to this forum.

However, if he is truly interested in protecting his "other life" from potential employers, he might be wise not to post here. Anyone with the slightest IT acumen can find cached pages of his website and photos, and any references to reviews on those pages can be easily traced back to this website, thereby revealing published reviews on him and his forum posts.

Whatever he decides, I wish him all the best. College grads have a tough road ahead of them these days in the job market. Don't give up.

The cached pages should disappear in a few weeks or months.
