I guess his first career was as an actor? Interesting about his attitude these days. According to what I saw in cruising the net, He competed in the Mr. Brazil 2007 contest; he didn't win the title but the other contestants voted him the title of "Mr. Simpatia" ("Mr. Congeniality"), a well-deserved tribute to his warm, friendly, easy-going personality.

"Attitude" is a very subjective thing.

 

On one hand hand, Edilson could have been very nice, warm and friendly with his peers during the Mr. Brazil 2007 contest.

On the other hand, he may have refused to 'sleep' with a given photographer or director of a model agency and have been "blacklisted" as having bad attitude. Many predators circle around the modeling business where the casting-couch syndrome isn't just an urban legend.

 

Let's not forget that often people saying that others have bad attitude, have an "attitude" problem themselves. ;-)
