As to who is top and who is bottom, i do not think it is a coincidence that Batman is frequently quoted as saying: "Back to the Bat Cave." while Superman has been quoted with "Up UP and Away". Deciphering the code, Batman is bottom Superman is the top. Additionally, Crypt Tonight (Kryptonite) was a long ago brand of Amyl Nitrate, trying to loosen up Superman's previously hidden Fortress of Solitude (a cold and lonely place whereas there are always men using long hard poles to get into the Bat Cave)
