I'm afraid this is slightly stale news (it was in the papers last week or the week before). I'm sure, though, that Scalia, Thompson & Co. will blame this on the homosexual agenda, although I can't for the life of me figure out what that would have to do with it. I mean, it's not like we're all hanging out underneath the bedroom windows of straight America chanting hexes against procreation!

 

By the way, speaking of Scalia and crowd, I wonder what they're going to be saying a couple of years from now when the heterosexual marriage and divorce rates remain virtually unchanged after the Lawrence v. Texas ruling, and after gay marriages are fully implemented in Canada? Or is there a sudden stampede to the divorce courts by hitherto closeted gay husbands that I haven't heard about yet? :+
