Hey Boys,

 

Has anyone travelled on one of their flights? I know their routes are just starting up but wasnt sure if anyone has checked them out. They supposedly have TV, movies, food, Cosmos & the flight attendants break into song. My partner has requested "back up Xanax" should we book a flight. But, he's the dummy who thinks it would be funny to schedule a trip on Hooters Airlines...I aint about wangs-n-titties:0)

I expect Trixie and John to break into song here! The airline Song is just Delta under another name. The upgrades for the tv, etc, will not be done for several months. The staff is very low paid, so I expect all they will be singing are the blues!

Sorry about this rant guys,I am soooooooooo frustrated at the airlines dunderheaded attempts to market themselves-at the expense of the flying public.

Delta,like many of the other biggies,have added a "second"brand to their fleet-calling it SONG.Prommises you "low fares" and lots of goodies.

Rather than following the two low cost airlines (jet blue,and southwest)buisiness plans(off the main route hubs,ONE TYPE OF AIRCRAFT,trading morale and generous stock options for high saleries)

The big boys just dump millions into slapping a new label on the sme old thing and market it as the next big thing.

Recently,many of the big boys have tried a fly three get one free type scheme.Rather than be a really specail promotion this gimmick is so overloaded with restrictions(not applicable to low internet fares,no saturday overnight stay,etc....) that very few travelers will see any "bonus"out of using them at all.thus creating a lot of ill will towards them-the oppisite of the desired effect.
