Disney is releasing a movie of "Pirates of the Caribbean"! With Johnny Depp, no less!

As a child, Pirates was absolutely my favorite ride at Disneyland. It was so dreamy, waiting impatiently in the long line until the bored youth with the scarf on his head shoved you into a little boat with a bunch of strangers. Then, you drifted gently off into the bayou dusk, artificial fireflies dangling all around.

These TV advertisements have caught Miss Trixie's eye! Our Johnny makes a right lovely pirate. I can hardly wait to go to the matinee... I'm sure Disney will once again provide me with salacious masturbatory fantasies for years to come.

Scholarly evidence has suggested that many pirate clans celebrated, even enforced same-sex bonds. The high seas were no place for a lady, after all. (Miss Trixie does suffer from seasickness, herself.) I'm sure Disney, in its relentless pursuit of historical accuracy, will fearlessly illustrate the bisexual nature of the brigand lifestyle. I, too, loved the ride "Pirates of the Carribean"! I remember as a little kid riding through the life-like fantasy land with my little brother screaming his head off in the back of the boat. He was convinced that the pirate ships were actually shooting cannon balls at us as the water splashed up around our little tour boat. Of course, being a mischievious little kid, I did little to dispell his beliefs..... }(

 

My parents even bought us those replica musket pistols so we could play Pirates at home after our trip to Disney. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to kidnap any of the other boys in my neighborhood to act out any of those brotherly pirate bonding scenes - that could have been a lot of fun!

 

The movie looks like it could be good. I think it comes out during the first week in July. I will definitely check it out!

Let me also add my vote for the ride at Disneyland and the adventures (smirk) that it conjured in my mind. Have often enjoyed Johhny Depp as well. But for a real fantasy pirate man, so far no one comes close to the character MAtthew Modine played in the Geena Davis bomb "Cutthroat Island". I have always fantasized about Matthew ever since "Vision Quest" where he played a high school wrestler. In the pirate pic, he has a number of scenes that show off his physical gifts including tons of arm pits shots for those other fetishists out there.

I am looking forward to the new Pirates flic.
