Tonight's Tony Awards

I've just returned from my Sunday evening walk a/k/a 'neighborhood gossip tour' and am ready to watch the Tony Awards. I spent most of my walk wondering, what is the perfect beverage for watching the show. What would you recommend?

 

I'll start. Tonight I've decided to open a bottle of Riesling.

I had nothing to drink during the Tonys and found the show to be worthwhile and rewarding. I truly appreciated the lack of glitz amongst those in attendance.

Seemed so real and candid and meanigful vs all of that friggin' pretentiousness that exists on the other coast, my coast of residence.

Found Ms Cicely Tyson's short speech to the the best of the evening and liked all of her purple {ish}-ruffled gown, too. ...looked good on this senior actor.
