Why is it that Hollywood- and by extension the porn factories- well if a movie makes you cry or changes your view on an issue- they are quick to claim credit. But they make a violent movie showing terrorist plots or some high school student making a bomb to kill his classmates. Then some deranged person says that the movie inspired them- and Hollywood is quick with the denials that there is no way the movie had anything to do with deranged persons actions- or the porn industry that bareback films don't lead to a general loosening of people's inhibitions. I mean you have beautiful people in front of you looking like they are deriving more joy from sex than you ever have ( the same way that I'm not sure I've ever had as much fun as the people at a party in a beer commercial). If we are bombarded with images of beautiful people enjoying themselves bareback without apparent problems, how can this not have an effect.
