FWIW - The ABC News article is reporting a 2010 survey by Coed magazine, if I read correctly. Their methodology was to search famous names (picked by them) And what they counted was number of hits (web postings). not number of times the name was searched.

It still makes no sense. If the study was looking specifically at women's names posted- obviously Bieber doesn't pass the physical exam. When they say his name was posted a lot, it should have been disqualified.
