Time to start getting wet as it was announced that Kellan Lutz will play Hercules in Renny Harlin's new film about the legendary "demi-god."

Reeves was amazing. Unfortunately, the actual movies he appeared in are really bad. Here's hoping we have a Kellan Lutz wrestling scene in the new film. Now, let's see what muscle stud could we get to play the villain??

I think he's younger and less buff in those pics. I saw him a movie made late 2012 -- some quickie cheap Asian action flick I can't even remember the name of -- and he's really bigger and ripped now. I almost didn't recognize him. The really handsome face in the pics above had hardened somewhat (that can happen if you get really big and buff).

 

Of course, there's a competing Hercules movie being made with Dwayne Johnson ... it should probably be called HERCULES DADDY considering his age.

lol...is it just me, or does that body armour make him look a little fat?

I agree. BVB, but my impression is that all of that "sculpted" body armour makes the star look bigger and thicker... not sure if it is fat underneath, but unless it is made to be a "stocking fit" it is relatively loose fitting, and actually not at all comfortable to wear. I was involved in costuming plays, etc. in college, and it was always a challenge to get the desired effect... so, we may just have to wait and see how the new film turns out...

I love that movie. I used to figuratively drool at him in Samson and Delilah. If I had actually drooled, my parents would have noticed and asked what was wrong.

Well I'm hoping all that armour comes off at some point..... and...well....we get to see some skin.
