Absolutely not...I feel the same way Lee. The problem is that for me at least, porn is a fantasy, and very often my fantasy is different than what is on the video, so I need that anonymity of the actors for the fantasy to really work. I guess classic example recently was Marc Dylan. Loved him in his porn videos, and I could fantasize about him in all kinds of situations when watching his videos, but once I hired him, I no longer saw the "porn actor" Marc Dylan when I watched a video, but rather the only thing I could see was the "person" Marc Dylan that I had grown to really like. At that point the fantasy just isn't as erotic for me.

My first memorable gay porn was "Boys In The Sand" from 1971, which shocks me today, because I can still see the beautiful Casey Donovan frolicking in the water and coming out of the sea to ravage Peter Frisk, an innocent Fire Island sunbather. This was beautifully filmed, and was actually released about a year or two before "Deep Throat." The other movie which has always stayed with me, was "Nights in black Leather" with Peter Berlin.
