As a buyer I agree with HT on this one. If an escort is only charging 180 for escort services, I do question the credibility of the ad. 150-180 in LA and in FTL are really massage rates....Now 180 might be a little high for a massage and I probably would not pay that, but I think you can see what my line of thinking would be. I think that escort rates in the low 200's is very doable for you, despite a lack of reputation in the area. Like HT says, if you can come in at a little below what the local boys are charging, then clients will feel that they are getting a good deal.

Now wait a minute now, I'm confused. One the one hand you're saying an escort charging 180 for escort services may have low credibility. Whereas on the other you're saying that's massage rates but you wouldn't pay it? I know you're in LA and Ft. Lauderdale but honestly even those places have guys that wouldn't pay that much especially with the on-coming amount of guys doing stuff for less.

 

Also, I'll say that in places in the middle of the country, Denver being one...You get a handful of clients who pay $180-250 once or twice and never see you again. After that, you start quoting $200+, you're like the most expensive, rip-off escort in the state to ever charge that much. They were hoping you'd say $100. Even trying to get $180/hr here is a feat in itself.

$220 is a pretty decent hourly rate. Someone said something about, "you can get fucked by 3 guys at this price or 4 guys at that price and still get the same amount of money." Well you know...it doesn't always work like that, especially in this current status alot of us are barely even getting clients as it is. I honestly can't remember the last time I was paid $200/hr locally. Men4rent isn't getting crap, rentboy is getting crap...so it's just adam and $200 doesn't really go on that site.

 

With me it's more about volume. If I could charge $150 and get a good enough volume of clients, I'd charge 150. However, factor in cancellations and time-wasters, it can leave you with less than you bargained for. Men4rent having no rate has sort of taught me that price may not even be a factor as it seems like wherever you go, no matter what your price...you're going to have a pre-determined amount of men who want to pay you for your services. You almost have to predict whether you will have lots of clients or a little bit of clients and charge accordingly.

 

Being that America is all about quick, easy, free sex from Grindr, craigslist and adam...alot of us aren't getting LOTS of clients anymore. So what happens? We got to start charging $1,000 an hour just to pay the fucking rent around this bitch. Otherwise, work full-time...and if the client is only in town for a day or can only play at a certain time of the week, too bad. I have to work a regular job again because people aren't paying for shit. I often hear they called several guys and nobody returned their call. Because they have to work a regular job. $200 every blue moon just isn't going to pay the bills.

Hi Griffin welcome to the board. I think you can charge whatever you feel like especially given the costs of travel. Pricing is challenging. Price too low and people equate that with poor service. Price too high, you might price yourself out of business. So, i'd pick a price i'd feel comfortable with and go with it. In larger urban areas like nyc, rates range from 200 to 300 or even more. Even guys who advertise on craigslist are asking for 300. I don't know what this world is coming to!!

I just think everyone else should have good manners Could it be harder for an escort (we know their ads, pictures, what turns them on, etc) to have the two layers of thick skin needed to be a member here?
