This thread about age only pertains to the review format on THIS site, where the date of the review is always included. So, if a client hired you in 2001, and you stated/he guessed that you were 32 at that time, I can do the math and figure that you're 34 this year.

Sorry, I think the problem is much more serious. From what I see mostescorts stay the same age on their own sites too!! Take a look at Axel Reiter in Brussels or Arnaud in London/Amsterdam for two quick examples that come to mind.

There seems to be some support for the idea of having both "stated/advertised" age (from the escort) and "estimated age" (from the client) in the Review format. That would suit me just fine.

 

What do others think??

I would vote to go to some specific age, or at least a narrower age range. The difference between guys that are "20's" can be huge, I just saw that on my DC trip. The difference between 21 and 29 is really big.

What do you do when the escort who says he is 22 turns out to be 32?? There is a guy who actually gets away with this! I should be so lucky as to look 10 years younger!

Had a few Escorts listed as 28 or 29 admit to being over 30, I never ask. One guy says he is 28 and asked me to guess his age, I said at least 30 but not much over. He acted hurt at first then admitted to 31. I guess I should have said 25 and made him feel better. I learned, along time ago, not to ask anyone but the carney at the State Fair to guess my age.

At least for starters, I don't usually care what an escort's real age is as long as he looks/acts reasonably close to his stated age. Once I've hired the guy, and if we click, the whole age issue goes away. I have strong suspicions that one of my regulars is quite a bit older (6-8 years) than he states, but he's a great looking, fun guy whose company I really enjoy (in and out of bed). I'm not hung up on a precise age/range -- but I'm still shallow enough to be hung up on a certain look/type, and my search typically starts with age since that correlates strongly with that look/type.

 

In any case, age groupings in increments of a decade are pretty useless to me. Might as well just go for categories of "looks REALLY young", "probably young", "aging well" and "experienced" (note that I kept away from using the term "old" -- tying to be a little PC). I like the idea that Daddy has of being able to search based on age, and I understand that the programming would be easier using the new buckets, but if the new buckets aren't very useful, what's the point?

I never really understood the age thing. I guess it's because I really started escorting extremely late in life (according to this board.)

Hi yes I do i seen a lot of escorts and They say there 20 or 24 but there adds are from that age and they dont change iot. I think at least the escorts could do is update it once a year with there new photos. becouse most of them are from when they were 20 and there is a lot that do this on rentboy that are in NYC and NJ the worst. :*

Two escorts in Boston:

 

"A" is at least 21 or 22 and has been saying he's 19 for three years (including here). He's trying to capture the "chicken" audience and doesn't tell the truth for fear it will hurt his business.

 

"B" is actually 37 and initially claimed to be 29 (a couple of years ago). He tells the truth after you get to know him.

 

I have no problem with "B". He's good at what he does and makes his age known to repeat clients. I suspect that much of his business is based not only on his sexual talents but also on his personality.

 

I do have a problem with "A". He is a scammer and will be "19" when he's "42", if he lasts that long. And he has no personality, nor will he ever.

 

Sometimes intent makes a difference.

OK here is a new one for me. What do you make of an escort whose stats say 23, but description on the same site says 20 but who says 21 when he shows up? Frankly, when he said he was 21, I said I thought his site said 23. He asked how old I thought he was. I changed the subject. He kept telling me that he was too old to still model and too old for his old piercings that were also disclosed on the site. By the wrinkles on the face in person, my guess is late 20s. All that aside, he was a nice guy and I had a good time. I probably would have rented him with had he advertised his real rate though I might have had my doubts whether his pics were accurate.
