though they weren't escort/client things, the Larry Craig and George Michael busts only happened because there had been ongoing complaints about activity in those bathrooms....I wonder if only complaints or nuisance issues lead to cops occasionally going after male/male activity....or the Sheriff has an upcoming election??

One of my regulars was arrested in a sting in LA a couple of weeks ago.

He escorts for both men and women. In this case, he was hired by a woman, who arrested him when he showed up at her hotel in Hollywood.

Amazing! As if there were no other troubles in the world. I know a guy who was arrested in Vegas a few years ago.

Ancient Greeks called prostitutes "Goddesses of mercy". Prostitution as long as it doesn't happen on the streets should be taxed and legal.

That stinks...his activity wasn't hurting anyone. Hope he weathers that storm somehow and I think its a misdemeanor in California.

I think you misunderstand that we are not prostitutes, we are escorts. This is not an online forum to discuss prostitutes, it is a digital gentleman's club. Clients aren't paying for sex, they are paying for time.

Also, if you understand the above statement and have an attorney's number in your wallet, you'll have very little worries. Then again, I'm incredibly paranoid about my safety and have lost thousands upon thousands of dollars due to denying clients who are not discreet.

I know what you mean and I hope you never get caught, but let's be more realistic about it. Guys hire you for one reason...

I know an escort in DC who's been in the business for almost 8 years, he never commits to a specific sexual act, he says things like: "in my private life I enjoy being a top", "I'm gay, you know", etc. Without saying, yes I'll fuck o yes, you'll fuck me...

Besides clients who are too graphic over the phone sometimes don't close the deal or are just jerking off, you can simply call yourself a bottom or a top, without describing like Hemingway what a top and a bottom do.

Good points. And keep in mind we're paying hourly rates that are equal to or greater than many lawyers and we're talking about guys who provide (in the view of many) a more beneficial service :) And if you saw my family attorney there is NO WAY you'd ever want to see him naked.

Ugh and I thought in places like CA, they were more liberal. I guess money talks everywhere-they will probably bilk him out of thousands for fines, lawyers, court costs. What bothers me is these dumb police actually get a salary , health care and pension from our tax dollars.

I also encourage that sort of talk - when I teach escorts in my "How To Wh0re" class, I always cover that point. it's perfectly legal to tell someone what sorts of things you like to do, and to hear what sorts of things he likes to do. the point is, you shouldn't talk about acts that could happen BETWEEN the two of you.

for a second I thought you might've been referring to me in your quote. I'm an escort in DC... I've been in the biz for that length of time... and I'm pretty forthcoming about how to talk about this sort of stuff. but I have never said "I'm gay, you know" - so I guess it was someone else you were referring to, LOL...

wait a sec, guyindupont1955... do I know you? feel free to PM me if you'd rather respond that way ;)

anyway, to answer your original question - I think there is really one good way to get yourself busted with stuff like this: public solicitation. I've heard so many instances of men who've been busted in parks, restrooms, bars, etc, and IMO escorts who solicit in those places are making a huge mistake. ok, there are a few other activities to avoid, too... hmmm, here is my top 4 list of things:

1. advertising (or shopping) on places that are repeatedly known to conduct stings - like craigslist and backpage,

2. meeting up in small towns that want to make a statement to their constituents about how "clean" they are (in the dc area, fredericksburg virginia and alexandria virginia are two examples)

3. the aforementioned public solictitation, and

4. the aforementioned talk between the two people about sexual activities with an exchange of money involved.

hope that helps -

Gentlemen,

Xander is correct. The first is illegal in most jurisdictions; The later is legal. Just about every page on the main website has a notice to that effect. If you believe otherwise perhaps your visiting the wrong site.
