>means phone book and somehow loses the book and years later

>after their lives have moved on and and turned full circle

>(like that phrase:) he hunts her down by trying to find the

>book for starters......right??? tell me--tell me!!!!

Sorry - wrong!

This is a bit of a toughy so I'll end the suspense...

It's from a 1953 Cinemascope movie called

"How to Marry a Millionaire" with

Marilyn Monroe, Lauren Bacal & Betty Grable

(The lines were spoken by Bacal)

also featuring, Rory Calhoun (drool) and William Powell.

Great movie for those of you who like the corny flics they were making in those days and for all Marilyn Monroe fans!

Now that's not fair. The Internet Movie Database list 125 male Shelby characters and 84 female. How could we ever guess which one you're thinking of out of a total of 209 possibilities?????????

Yes, it does. Steel Magnolias and Shelby was Julia Roberts' character's name.:-)

Here's one for you guys, in honor of my upcoming 40th birthday.

From a movie, who said, "Forty, 4-0, I hadn't quite made up my mind to admit to it and now that I have, I feel like I've taken off all my clothes."

Also, from another movie, "I swear, if you existed I'd divorce you!"

Excellent, Les.

OK, here is a non-movie trivia question with some hints:

This is from a book by an author who also appeared in a movie with someone else mentioned in this thread; this particular person (who may be male or may be female) is also rumored to have been a practioner of the world's oldest profession.

'Do you fancy me, then?' he asked.

'Well, you're a little scrawny but yes, I do in a way.'

. . .

'Well, it'll cost you fifteen quid, scrawny or not.'

Les-I'm disappointed in you-The real answer is Betty Everett, the orginal singer of Is It In His Kiss the true title of the song. You must be much to young to remember that. As punishment you will just have to post more of those great pics you find.

Hey-where is Mr.Munroe? Must be very busy with someone "In his face":p

I'll have to think about that one, give me time. I'm on my way to the dentist. Need to get some hair removed from between my teeth, think he will by the story it's dental floss. Ugh-sorry about that
