I think most of us practice safer sex as opposed to 'safe' sex - few of us want to use a condom for oral sex, e.g. Some of us are more willing to take risk than others.

I understand this, although I think it is a strange denial/double standard, as I am sure if we like regular sex we all must have been with guys who are HIV and haven't disclosed their status, or are ignorant of it. Safe sex is supposed to protect us from HIV, but a lot of guys won't even try it with positive guys, but have sex with guys whose status they don;t know-an odd conundrum..

But I think there is sometimes a discordance between what we SAY and what we DO especially in the heat of passion. And most of us practice safer sex, not truly 'safe'.

 

My main reason for bringing up his bareback scenes is that I know it matters to some.
