I invite you to mark your calendars for March 23 and 24, 2013 for the 9th Annual Palm Springs Weekend. There will be a dinner on Saturday the 23rd, tentatively a theatrical performance at the local playhouse after the dinner, and a "pool event" at my rented condo in the afternoon of Sunday, the 24th. And probably another dinner after the “pool event”. More details will be announced as they become available.:)

In the meantime, I wish everyone an early Happy Valentine’s Day! (Which also happens to be International Condom Day!)

:D

Thank you so much for this Oliver. If anyone can appreciate the work it takes to organize this event, it's me. And your generosity of organizing and opening your home for the pool party for many years is so very much appreciated.

Let me be the first to confirm. My partner and I will be attending. And can't wait to meet so many of you of you again. We will be discussing airline reservations tonight. Before the snow hits Richmond. Southerners and snow isn't a pretty picture. I need some warm PS temperatures in a hurry.

Thanks again and can't wait to see you again Oliver. I just want to make sure we maintain the Palm Springs tradition that was started last year -- no achilles injuries to the host.

Looking forward to the weekend. Have already made plane and lodging reservations.

Great news SFW. You were sorely missed last year. It'll be great to catch up with you and all the adventures with your friend, who I'm assuming will also be attending.

Whew -- that's a LOT longer driver than DC ... if I acquire an airplane I'll let you know ;)

Certainly there must be someone from your neck of the woods who might like the company of one of the most handsome young man I've met in a long, long time.

You're too kind. Thank you very much.

If I do find someone, you guys will be the first to know!

Dinner, then sex, then more dinner. You're my kinda guy. :)

I plan to be there. LBT twisted my arm.

Wayne and I will be there! We were planning to be in PS that weekend anyway, so this works out really well. We just booked a room at Helios today. Can't wait to see you guys again!

I have reserved my hotel for the weekend. I will turn my attention to booking a flight in the next week or so. I haven't decided yet, but I may go stag again, and may be open to sharing my love nest to a needy soul. I promise not to maul you......well.....at least not all night long.......night after night after night.

I look forward to renewing old acquaintances and making new friends.

Well wishes,

jjt

Gentlemen:

I'm currently available for that weekend - please contact me if you would like to discuss having me as your companion.

It would be great fun to be back in PS and see friends.

Well Oliver and all in PS...sadly I will be in FTL this year and won't be able to go "Bi-Coastal"...I wish everyone a fabulous time, and hope that all the events are as successful as last year. I will miss seeing old friends and not seeing new ones... peace to all.

I'm in. Looking forward to it!

Just who are you in young man? :)

Just got the roomed booked at helios. They said they only have 3 or 4 rooms available. So if anyone wants to stay there, I would recommend doing it sooner rather than later.

We're really curious to see how Helios has changed, if at all, since it was sold a few months ago. The guy I talked to on the phone when booking our room was really nice, and helpful.

I'm also curious to see whether they keep the extra play space they created. In talking to Mike at Helios today, they converted one of the guest rooms (room #3) to a play area since they were having some problems with maintaining the heat to be comfortable enough for guests. Mike didn't know if they would keep it like that once it gets warmer, but who knows, they may have 2 separate play areas with slings in March.

They did that once we were there last winter. I'm not sure if it was room #3 or not, but they converted one of the empty rooms into a second playroom, because the first one was so full. It worked out really well; I'm glad to hear they're doing it again.

Happy to see responses from new faces as well as previous participants (I was gonna say "old faces", but that didn't sound right!).:)

In some of the cases (particularly mine), old faces seems appropriate too. Looking forward to being there. It should be a great time.
