Actually, I think he bought it in Bali when he was there last summer. As Daddy told him: "You must have a sister in customs to let that thing through".

Then it is even more remarkable. Surprised that someone in US customs didn't keep it for themselves. My first thought was that he had it sculpted as a replica of someone he fancies !!

Doesn't somebody have to actually be a rock star to be a rock star anymore or is it just a generic term with no meaning now? How do people know when they're talking about actual rock stars versus fake ones? Life is so confusing in 2013.

I was wondering about that also until someone seriously called me a rock star recently. I am so far from being a rock star....but it was nice for a minute or two to be in the same league with Patti Smith. Then I realized how silly I was being.

I believe you, sort of. But, I just spent time trying to find Ace performing on the Internet. I got to see him talking...seems like a nice enough guy. But, it would be interesting to see him singing. Anyone have a link?

All I'm saying is that Ace is very talented, has a show in Vegas, and fits the "rock star" bill. (except he's a very sweet and caring guy) It's my opinion, and JJ's , and LBT's so my dear Rock, go piss in someone else's wheaties!

I'm sure he's very talented and seems like a nice guy, but I just wonder when "rock star" stopped actually meaning "rock star" and became another way to say "great" or "awesome." I mean, can we do this for other professions? If someone's a great driver, can we call them an astronaut?
