And Travel; I can't meet everyone from Los Angeles. And I can't meet everyone period. Three of those changes I'm unwilling to make, and so, I have no ground to bitch from.

What is the measure of someone's 'success'? A moniker depicting you as 'Escort of the Year?'. Or is it tangible...the money, the cars, the clothes. Is it travel, or the means to do so? Or how about this- is success knowing you've done right by X amount of clients, so that when you turn on your phone Christmas morning, it's got 8923823905238 text messages and emails, that people each took the time and care to send out.

 

Which would you really rather have, and where do you want to go with it, is the better question?

 

There are guys that I've danced with in the Northeast who used to work the Gaiety theatre in NYC. One of them is so fantabulously(I'm inventing words, yes) attractive, that someone literally dropped a Lamborghini on him to be a kept boy and stop working there...and be at their beck and call. Do you know that that escort has not ONE review on this website? And he'd blow ALL of us out of the water looks wise, trust me. How about this? Look at the top contenders for 'Escort of the Year' for Rentboy.com. Guys like Rafeal Alencar, etc- do you notice they barely have ANY reviews on this website? The way you gotta look at it in my book...is that you have a shit ton of good reviews...from people to whom QUALITY matters. 1 of those is better than 10 guys who saw you, and didn't bother to write a thing. I'm not a baseball fan, but from what I gather, there are different averages. 'Batting Average'- how many times you hit the ball...and 'Slugging Average'- how many times you hit the ball and it was a big play? Double? Triple? Or Home run? So even if your 'batting average'(not getting EoTY) isn't where you want it to be...look at your slugging average(sheer number of reviews).

I've never worked for David Forrest, but I know quite a few guys who have. It's pretty easy to take shots at someone, when you're not in their shoes...and he's not as bad of a guy as everyone makes him out to be. If you had to deal with unreliable escorts day in and day out, wouldn't you be a little tapped in the head, too?

 

Remember, I run a dancing company in New England, as my primary source of income...booking out male and female dancers for private events. There is no word to describe how frustrating it is when you earn a customer's trust when you 'sell' him on the phone, and then your people don't show up, etc. It's enough to drive anyone mad. So I can sympathize with David. Not saying he's not flawed; we all are, ya know?
