Forgive me if this question has been asked and answered before.

Has anyone had actual experience with the hair remover NoNo! that gets a tremendous amount of air time on television? I've read complaints online about the product, but I figured this was the place to ask the really tough questions -- can it even be used on the infamous Crack and Sack? (OK, maybe not so infamous, but it is a really important part of any man.)

In addition to that NoNo! thingy, we've also seen a lot of air play for some alleged laser gizmo that looks like a hand-held hair dryer. Does it work? And can it be used on the aforementioned private areas of a man?

Please no debate on the virtues or evils of hirsute males, I just interested if anyone actually uses or has used either of these products.

Thank you in advance for your helpful insights.

I did some research on it as well as another better reviewed brand after clients asked me about them. and IMO they both have the same issue of the contact piece being way too small for covering large areas.

It can be used in private areas but it takes allot of repeat applications for long term results...

a friend of mine had one that she bought a few years ago when they first came out. These ones were only for the legs, arms and chest hair at the time, not the genitalia area. I did try it on my arm and it did remove the hair on it but there was that really bad burnt hair odor. This was around 2006 or 2007 I believe. Their website said that it could not be used on the genitalia area.

One friend of mine uses Vichy products for the genital area and likes them. Another friend who is a dark skinned guy from Hawaii uses Magic Fragrant Shaving Powder on his genitals and butt and it works great for him. The product is "formulated for black men". I, a lily white WASP, tried it and it burnt my genital region real bad!!!!!!! Took 4 weeks to recover. If you are African American try the Magic Powder. For my friend the results last 4 months. If you are lily white stick to the Vichy products.

That's a very valid point about different products for different people. I've never really been a big fan of shaving just because I tend to get ingrown hairs like crazy. With that being said I've tried nair and Electric shavers and have had great success. I generally do not shave or trim. I'm not that hairy of a person to warrant bad skin.

Trying to think if burning your hair off daily for an extended amount of time is a good idea. Hmm....

But I did have a client tell me once that his wife high recommended it. I forget exactly how we got to that topic.

Do you think I could etch some funky designs into my cat's fur with this thing? That would be marvelous.

I have been thinking about trying it out at somepoint -- ever since my fire breathing injury (freak injury during a performance ... ugh) I've been getting ingrown hairs on my neck where I was burned and it ticks me off.

If you can do it on the cat, consider something simple like: "Bad Pussy~ ...but always hungry"
